upper management only cares about appearances, they can claim they have never laid off an employee, because they hire and lay off temp labor like they are just pawns. there are alot of employees that do not deserve to be there, but were lucky enough to get hired when the doors were wide open, alot of people that were actually very good for the company were not retained because upper management is driving the company into the ground
