      Pros

      • Company cares about its employees -- provides decent benefits including public transportation • Room for a lot of growth if you are dedicated and work hard • Great perks, as is expected in the hotel industry

      Cons

      • Can be a little political as far as "who you know" and awards • Some properties are treated better than others • Individuals in management given preferential treatment and support staff looked down upon

      Those who are loyal to them will move forward in the ranks relatively fast. Great for beefing up your resume...

      Cons

      Pay is poor. The property's bottom line is more important. Management seems to think that their employees don't notice the below average pay and unacceptable scheduling (admittedly, this may be more due to the industry). Plenty of promises that are never kept. 3-6% increase in pay annually.. Training is very sub par as they are more interested in minimizing cost to enhance management appeal to corporate. Although I appreciate the managements friendly demeanor, it is not an acceptable replacement for overworking employees and spreading them far too thin.
