Pros

I'm starting my third year at Sage. In that time, I've worked in two different departments. I've had great colleagues and managers in both jobs. I'm paid fairly and there are a ton of benefits, including an Employee Stock Purchase Program. No job is perfect, but I've been very happy at Sage.

Cons

Sage is a large, publicly-traded, multi-national corporation with about 12,000 employees across the globe. Everyone I've worked with is great, but sometimes finding the right person can take some time. It's understandable, but just a different dynamic from startups, which is where I was before. Big ships turn slowly, so change doesn't happen quickly. However, I feel executive leadership does a good job of communicating their vision and intent.

We appreciate your feedback, and we are pleased that you are having such a positive life at Sage experience and that you are delighted with our culture, our leadership, and the opportunities afforded to you for the continuous advancement of your career. 'Simplify' which is part of our new values, requires that we identify and remove the barriers that exist that slowdown processes or make them complicated so as we continue to have our new culture embedded, we envision that as much as we are a large organization, it will not feel so large because of simplification. Thank you for taking the time to speak up for Sage and we encourage you to continue to share your sentiments with us both internally and here on Glassdoor

Pros

Very good salary, bonus and benefits. 5 days to volunteer. Lots of training available.

Cons

Politics, red tape, top down mentality. No time to volunteer or take training. No sense of end of working day - always on.

Thank you for your review. At Sage people; our colleagues, partners and customers are the heart of all we do. For us a large part of caring for our people is caring for the society they live in and because of this, we have Sage Foundation and we give colleagues 5 days a year to volunteer to causes that they care about most. We have invested in a number of well-being and work/life balance resources including flexible work programs, gratitude journals and healthy mind coaches and have dedicated channels to listening to the concerns of our colleagues. In case you did not get a chance to give us your feedback in your exit survey, please do send us an even more detailed replication of your response to careers@sage.com
