Pros

Sage Continues to expand in Atlanta market as they consolidate other office in the US. Hiring many junior level personal.

Cons

The executive team in North America has turned over 90%. In marketing, the team have been centralized, globalize and now localized again. No respect of employees, no Career path, and the products are still far from competing. Unachievable goals set so bonus don't get paid out.

This includes some junior roles, but we are currently looking for experienced professionals, and senior-level team members. Company has a global presence

Cons

There is absolutely no good reason to work for a company with products built on old technology, a blatant disregard for its customers, and whose only strategy for growth is to conduct annual reorganizations instead of delivering stable, forward-looking products.

Thanks for taking time to write a review and you're right, we are in 23 countries, but when you work here, it feels like a local company but with the clout of a global. There's lot innovation happening at Sage – we recently announced new availability of 5 accounting cloud solutions across 7 global markets for business of all sizes. 20,000 Sage AI users can’t be wrong – tens of thousands of ‘new to Sage’ customers adopt accounting chat bot Pegg in 6 months since launch. Over 100 new and fully integrated ISV’s on the Sage Marketplace – building on Sage’s heritage of strong partnerships, including global relationships with Salesforce, Microsoft, Apple and Slack. Invisible accounting by 2020 – leading the business builders of tomorrow towards an ‘invisible accounting’ environment so they can focus on building their business. Pros

as a fellow co-wor.. colleague* mentioned below, Sage does have some pretty awesome office chairs and top-of-the-line doors. another neat feature of this company is their all-hands pow-wows, which usually consists of some top brass trying to create excitement and a positive environment using outdated buzz words, resulting in crickets from the peanut gallery. its pretty amusing hearing their struggle. the free snacks that follow these uplifting hours of life that we'll never get back are probably the only other pro to this place, besides the chairs and doors. and pens. pens so great, jordan belfort couldn't even sell them to you

Cons

sir richard branson will be in attendance this year at sage summit. ill be anxious to see all of the baffled looks on the top brass faces when he talks about why companies should put their employees first and customers second. im willing to bet they'll just nod in agreement (to disagree) and sweep it under the rug like they do everything else.

Change is unsettling and can affect people in various ways. Sage truly values each and every colleague. We know we cannot deliver fantastic new products, respond to customers, and drive our business forward without every colleague working together. We work hard to find ways to reward and recognise employees from the Platinum Elite scheme at the top end, to generous benefits at the other - right to saying ‘thank you’ or ‘good job’. It’s not just about benefits and rewards, it’s about recognising and appreciating our colleagues – we do this, but always open to suggestions about how we can do this better.
