Pros

None. Seriously can't think of any benefits

Cons

Firstly - it's cringe to see all of the fake reviews posted on here. Seems that the company have asked some of their more loyal staff to give 5 star reviews to drag the rating up. Senior management push their own agendas. Forcing people back in the office for 3 days "or there will be consequences" when you employed people on remote agreements or one day a fortnight. There are people in the company genuinely going off with stress due to the fact they will be sacked in the new year and can't physically go in for 3 days (and Sage will reply and give the standard hybrid speil here) Pushing a half-assed ai agenda Pushing to new territories when existing platform isn't good enough PMs make all the calls and ignore the teams expertise Putting people on PIPs as underhanded tactics to make them leave, or pave the way to get shut of them C-suite team are a bunch of old school people who are so removed from the real world... Telling people "if you don't agree to the new terms, find another job" easy then your earning hundred of thousands, or even millions a year. The minions at the bottom don't have it as easy to pay for child care, dog care, travel costs etc.

Pros

It was amazing working at Sage for a few years. We felt appreciated, amazing colleagues, and part of a great and enthusiastic team. A great manager and interesting and meaningful work.

Cons

Mandatory hybrid work—ironically branded as 'team agreements' that no one agreed to—has left countless employees not just frustrated, but outright disillusioned. The rollout was marked by an appalling lack of tact, with aggressive, almost rude communication that shows complete disregard for worker morale. What’s even more shocking are the tone-deaf comments the company is leaving on Glassdoor, revealing this isn’t a dialogue—it’s a top-down imposition reminiscent of a dictatorship. The sheer arrogance of statements like ‘things might not fully resonate with you at the moment’ is staggering, as if it’s always the employees’ fault for not seeing their so-called 'vision.' The hypocrisy is impossible to ignore—this company clearly doesn’t practice what it preaches. And a company that claims to champion sustainability yet demands workers return to the office? Laughable, if not outright tragic.
