Thanks for your review. It is so pleasing to read many of the reviews on Glassdoor state our colleagues are simply awesome! About 90% of reviews (good and bad) state this. Yes, we have lots of growth plans, so it's exciting and a great time to be part of Sage. As long as we stick by our values and always do the right thing that's great! Thanks again for writing a review. Best regards, Lynne

Transformation & change..... it's all good!

Pros

Sage has been going through a transformation and lots of change for a while and it's still ongoing. I've noticed some reviews on here suggesting this is a negative thing for the company. Seriously though, for a company to survive (especially a tech business) constant change is inevitable and expected. If we don't have constant change and adapt real-time then we will decline - if you're not a fan of change then don't work for an innovative tech business! The transformation of the business is so exciting providing lots of opportunities. What I love most is that there is a strong feeling that the drive behind the constant change is not just to drive profit (that's often seen as a secondary) it's about really making a real difference to everyone Sage comes in contact with..... that may be through the Sage Foundation supporting local communities and projects (we're actively encouraged to use all 5 of our volunteer days!), supporting entrepreneurs passing on great business advice and sharing best practice and tools they can use, supporting Invictus Games, providing fantastic opportunities for apprentices in many business areas, actively encouraging personal development and skill improvement whether that be through our mentor program or independently through Lynda.com and there's lots more going on too!

Cons

Many colleagues in our business are doing really great things and I don't think this is always shared and communicated as much as it could be.

Thanks for writing your review about life at Sage. It's great to hear you liked the working environment and the working hours suited you. This month we are introducing our leaders to our brand new Leading for Leaders programme - some modules includes coaching and developing performance, as we want high performing teams and what better way than to recruit/promote from within. So, we aim to be better in terms of progression. We appreciate your feedback - thank you and good luck in whatever yo are doing.
