Pros

Pay is decent, annual bonus, some of the people are very good

Cons

Painfully outdated technology that makes it impossible to do your job at times. Senior Leadership Team's recent 'announcement' that all colleagues must be in the office at least 3 days per week (despite knowing that offices aren't big enough to accommodate everyone). Internal processes are poorly managed. Stream of constant changes made difficult by poor communication between teams.

Thank you for leaving us your feedback. Hybrid working is core to strengthening our human-centric culture, in which the well-being of our colleagues is at the centre. We shall be working with our Places team to ensure that our office experience is empowering for our colleagues. We are also working to improve communication where there may be gaps and continue to streamline our work. These things take time, but we are confident that we're headed in the right direction. Please ensure that you're constantly leaving us your thoughts internally as this helps us know where the barriers to be knocked down are.

Change to Hybrid Working

Pros

Salary is more than fair Site offices are clean and modern

Cons

Unfortunately Sage has enforced a strict 3 day in the office policy. This is with a very minimal exceptions rule and if you want to apply for remote working you have to jump through at least 3 levels of approval to even be considered. Poor show for such a large and otherwise positive company. Worklife balance not considered a priority anymore and feels like a baby step back into complete home working. Please consider if you like office work before applying here.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Hybrid working is core to strengthening our human-centric culture, in which the well-being of our colleagues is at the centre. We made it three days as this is then fair to everyone and ensures that all our colleagues are coming together to build connections and foster the Humanness of our culture. Please speak to your manager about how they could support you in fully embracing the benefits of hybrid working.

Pros

Decent benefits and bonus potential. Wonderful people at peer level.

Cons

Slowly mandating 100% office days. Poor facilities, coffee machines never work for example. Team Managers and above, right to the top are out of touch with their people and don't understand there are issues, or how to resolve problems beyond blaming the person who raised the issue in the first place.

Thank you for leaving us your feedback. Your thoughts have been noted. Although it might not fully resonate with you at the moment, please be assured that our culture is still supportive, empowering and people-focused. Our hybrid working structure is key to the success of this culture. As we continue to work on evolving the colleague experience, we hope that your life at Sage will become more enriched. We look forward to hearing about that soon.
