Pros

Technology is always changing which makes the job continuously challenging.

Cons

Annual layoffs. Sage hires many good people, unfortunately we see many good people let go each year due to decision makers who never met these wonderful people that were dedicated, hardworking employees. Sage let’s us know we’re all “at will” employees. You need to make sure your resume is updated by the end of the fiscal year because you never know if you’ll be in the next round of layoffs.

Thank you for leaving us your review; your feedback is essential to us. Restructuring decisions are never taken lightly given their implications for our colleagues and we're sorry that these decisions have impacted how you feel about your job security. We want to assure you that our aim is never to replace our great colleagues but rather to retire roles that may no longer serve the needs of the business at a given time. This is a process that all businesses go through as a result of growth and change that comes from innovating business models to fit an ever-evolving world. Nevertheless, we'd like to assure you that we're 100% committed to the success of our colleagues. This is why we've invested in several career development opportunities through Talent Marketplace, and Sage University LinkedIn Learning among other resources to help our colleagues reskill when they need to, Please be encouraged to explore all these offerings available to you, In addition, please speak to your manager candidly about your concerns as they are best placed to support you through your development.

Pros

Many of the pros no longer exist.

Cons

They claim to have flexible human work as their hybrid model but there is nothing flexible about it. They like to quiet hire a lot.

Thank you for your feedback. We're disappointed to know you're not very happy at Sage at the moment and have taken note of your feedback which shall be factored into our continuous improvement plans. We'd been keen to understand more about your flexibility concerns and therefore hope you've made some reference to this in your Pulse survey. Our current model requires colleagues to work 2-3 days a week but additionally, colleagues can work away from their home base for up to 10 weeks a year. We are open to more suggestions around how to make this offering even better suited to our colleagues. Thanks for the advice that you've given us. We can confirm that compensation packages are reviewed regularly and this will continue to be done. If you have any particular case concerns here, please speak to your manager.
