Thank you for taking the time to write a review on GlassDoor. With the largest percent of our employees in Europe, and many located in France, it is logical that we have a high percent of executives who are French Nationals. Being around for 352+ years and growing!!

Boring in all the right ways.

Pros

Industrial company, more and more focused on building products. When housing starts are good, they will do well. It is a French multi-national that tends to be very careful with its decisions and its cash. Expects to keep growing but misses some opportunities when they are too pricey. Some strong cultures of manufacturing and finance. You will never miss a paycheck. They have been trimming benefits, but not as fast as some companies. Likes educated candidates. Good workmanship and professionalism are generally recognized in this company. Socially responsible.

Cons

Can be a little hard to advance, especially if you are not from the Northeast. Corporate office is quite a ways from center city Philly, but could be good if you are raising a family and need a house. Decision processes not always obvious - sometimes nothing happens until someone in France says okay. Can get a bit internally focused. Don't go to work here if you like to make your own rules.
