Pros

Clinical staff is some of the best in the region.

Cons

Expected to give the best quality care with limited staff and high acuity patients. Many days we go without a lunch or break. Also, Corporate is constantly decreasing benefits. This has been done gradually over a few years. So, newer staff is not so aware of how good benefits use to be. Pension plan is gone, PTO has been cut. Part time clinical staff no longer get benefits unless they work 24 hours a week. Not the 36 hours a pay period like most other hospitals in the city. The 403b match is also terrible. Raises are terribke. Unless you are the CEO or corporate.

Pros

I love my job, my boss is great! Lots of smart people and good resources which allow a good job and service to our patients

Cons

I work ALOT of hours at salary pay. Some people are promoted to VP and Exec positions with large gaps of knowledge and it makes it difficult to work with them because they do not have a clue on what is going on.
