Pros

Great Benefits & Perks Growth & Learning Programs Mentorship Opportunities (if you know where to look)

Cons

The sales organization is extremely toxic. Depending on the team you’re on, you may never hit your quota. Only half of core reps do. Micromanaging and unnecessary time wasting administrative work. There are favorites. You must kiss a** to survive. People steal deals from one another. Shady behind the scenes territory swiping even though it’s suppose to be against the rules. All of this and you will still be let go no matter the ACV you bring in to the company. 5 years and millions on millions later. They laid off people I would never think to lay off. High performers. It makes absolutely no sense and it’s devastating. Basically, you are family until you earn too much. It’s all BS

My Experience at Salesforce

Pros

There are some benefits as well, but it is comparable to other companies with similar pay.

Cons

My time at Salesforce was utterly disappointing due to its severe work-life imbalance and ineffective management. If you're looking for a company that values your well-being and fosters professional growth, steer clear of Salesforce. Work-life balance was nonexistent at Salesforce. Overtime and weekend work were expected, with little consideration for personal lives. Management seemed oblivious to the toll it took on employees' health and relationships. The management at Salesforce was shockingly inadequate. Micromanagement was rampant, communication was chaotic, and feedback was met with defensiveness. This lack of accountability created a toxic environment that hindered meaningful career development. This toxic combination negatively impacted my mental and physical health, leading to burnout. The stress and chaos overshadowed any job satisfaction I might have had.

Cons

- Sexually assaulted by leaders - other leaders didn't report - Leaders lied about it - lots of semi mandatory extreme drinking with leaders - leaders joke about destroying people's careers for small things - whole teams disappear at random right now during the tech slowdown - leaders push 16 hr days, pressure you to register 8
