Pros
- Great job if you love working to help close deals without a true “quota” - Not mundane and the same thing over and over - Good pay - you can be creative in problem solving customer’s needs
Cons
- Very much self taught. Some training is good on teams, but if you aren’t technical naturally you might struggle - Work life balance is overall great. There are times when you’ll work insane hours for a week, but then in turn you usually have 1-2 really light weeks. If you don’t like that it might be tough. I enjoy it though. - The job has morphed into customer success lately. Too much “post sale” discussion which takes away from pre-sale work - Wildly political. As in literal government politics. Employees will openly talk about liberal agendas and bash any right leaning idea. If you say ANYTHING right leaning you’re shunned. All in the name of “inclusivity”. Doesn’t seem very inclusive.
