Pros

Interesting work, open transparent culture, very friendly helpful people for the most part! Love the philanthropic programs the company has, which is encouraged from CEO down: they provide 6 paid days off to volunteer at a charity; if you use all 6 days, they give $1000 to a charity of your choice; they also match any donations to charities up to $5000 per year. The leaders in my business unit have a really good vision, but could do better to communicate it downward all the way to the ICs.

Cons

So much work to do! So much infrastructure to fix - to automate. The leaders know that things need to be fixed and have provided a vision, but they need to do a better job of communicating it and ensure we are all marching to the same drum beat. From a Technical program perspective, they need to hire more! They are in middle of a transition, and from an Infrastructure Engineering perspective they are currently at a ratio of about 25-30 engineers per TPM. It needs to be more like 10 engineers per TPM.

Pros

Great pay and benefits (employee stock purchase plan, wellness allowance and fitness centers, snacks). The company really cares about employee well-being, work-life balance, gender diversity, giving back, and doing the right thing, so I feel good about spending a third of my weekday hours at work. Stock is up, company is still growing, etc. It feels great to be the winning team.

Cons

Not much to say here, except that it is a large company (17,000 employees and growing) which may not be for everybody. Things still move very fast for a company of this size though!

Pros

Work life balance Not for profit work Great offices and working environment Good pay

Cons

I really don't have anything negative to say. It's a fast growing dynamic company and it's great place to work.
