Great Culture and People, but Structural Issues and Salary Inversion Hinder Growth
Pros
Excellent People and Culture: The best part of working here is undoubtedly the people. The environment is very comfortable, collaborative, and psychologically safe. Work Environment: It is a genuinely pleasant place to work if you prioritize human relationships and a supportive atmosphere.
Cons
Compensation Disparities: Honestly, the salary is slightly below the market average. There is also a demoralizing "salary inversion" issue where incoming new graduates sometimes earn more than existing, experienced employees. Role Ambiguity (Solution Engineering): The boundaries of the Solution Engineer role have become blurred. SEs are often expected to cover tasks that should belong to the Sales team, leading to scope creep without additional recognition. Understaffing & Workload: The teams are chronically understaffed. The workload per person is significantly high relative to the compensation, leading to an imbalance between effort and reward. Limited Career Progression: Promotion slots are extremely limited, and the upper levels feel "clogged." Consequently, fair evaluation based on actual performance is rare, making it difficult to receive raises or promotions regardless of hard work.
