Pros

Marc Benioff is an envisionary leader. The innovation that he inspires as well as his passion to build a company that embraces equality and diversity makes for a compelling set of reasons to be part of this great company.

Cons

While the west coast may be working on meeting Marc's lofty goals, the midwest(specifically midwest CSG) is swiftly becoming the white male centric world. Women are not staying within various roles within CSG in growing numbers and it's becoming very obvious that this is a white man's world. If you read the Chicago Tribune this weekend, you will not that more and more diversity factors(black, Hispanic, etc) are leaving for more favorable areas from every company, not just SF. If anyone would do the data analysis for CSG Chicago, warning bells should go off. The executive leadership is slowly but surely driving women out of their workforce vs embracing Marc's culture.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a thoughtful review. Increasing diversity and creating true equality are issues that are top of mind for the entire leadership team, and we are working hard to make sure that everyone within Salesforce is invested in these important causes. We’ve made progress (particularly with Equal Pay, Equal Advancement and Equal Opportunity), but there’s still work to be done. I am sharing your feedback with key leaders in Chicago and globally as a reminder of how important these initiatives are. Please reach out to me if you’d like to talk through your concerns in more detail, and if you have any suggestions for achieving a better gender equality. If you are more comfortable, you can always safely and anonymously raise concerns via EthicsPoint. EthicsPoint can be reached at 1-866-294-3540 (US/Canada toll-free) or online at http://www.salesforce.ethicspoint.com/. I hope you will stick with Salesforce and work with us to make our company a more diverse and inclusive workplace that values and demonstrates equality for all. Pros

Great product, compensation, & benefits

Cons

I work on the Marketing Cloud. Invasion of Oracle folks have brought the Oracle culture. AE's are treated as commodity, and goals and expectations are constantly being updated with new demands making it difficult to stay focused on brining in new ACV. Top brass constantly preaches how we're a customer company and how we love our customers, yet we offer no support, training or resources unless they pay through the nose. Free resources are not good enough to get clients going, and company doesn't really care if they renew or not.

Pros

Pay and benefits are first class. Encouragement to donate your time to charity. Big name.

Cons

Management in some areas is a revolving door with all of the accompanying issues. Some areas are blessed with solid, quality people who know how to inspire and manage. Others are plagued with incompetence and insecurity. Like many large companies, your individual experience will largely be a function of the quality of your management hierarchy - which at this company can now be very good or very bad.
