For such a large company, some internal processes can feel surprisingly opaque. Navigating internal support functions like Employee Relations (ER) can be a challenge. The process can sometimes feel more focused on corporate risk mitigation than on achieving a truly equitable resolution for the employees involved. Be prepared to be a very strong and persistent advocate for yourself, as the system can feel like it's designed to contain issues rather than solve them at a human level.
