Senior management in charge has no respect for employees or managers but requires respect from them. The culture is one of extreme micromanagement where the President spends most of the time snooping in people's email boxes and personal business outside of work than even attempting to solve the real business issues at hand. If an employee is not best friends with senior management/owners they won't be there long. The rules and policies are supposed to be made by employees but are dictated by the President and carried out by the President's sycophants. There are daily demonstrations of senior management's belief that they know more than anyone else. It is a common occurrence for employees and managers alike to be demeaned and belittled by senior management in front of groups of their co-workers. Business market strategy is determined by what new book has been read and how senior management twists the theory to fit their particular needs. It's all about putting money in the pockets of the President with no regard for the loyal employees and managers who work hard day in and day out just trying to make a living and keep their jobs. Senior management in charge only thinks about what they see, think, believe, need, understand. So much time is spent blaming mid-level management for the problems created and further exacerbated by senior management. The level of drama is equal to an episode of Empire. The level of distrust and game playing is equal to Game of Thrones. The customers aren't even treated with respect.
