Pros

The pay is competitive and I work in a welcoming family environment where even though there are 200 (give or take) employees, we all know each others names. I feel at home when I come to work every day. I feel as though my ideas and thoughts are taken into consideration and I am never alone in a situation that may arise in my department. The department I work in is not only a team but also a small family inside the big family. I do not feel like I am being watched over my shoulder constantly and am trusted to do my job as I was hired to do.

Cons

Policies change from day to day. You never know what tomorrow is going to bring. What is okay to do today is not okay to do tomorrow. There is a rumor mill that is typical in any company that you work for. There is a lot of brown nosing which is also typical.

We do have to change our policies at times, in an effort to keep up with the market, as well as to best serve all of our employees. A growing and competitive company!

Pros

Competitive pay with plenty of overtime. Plenty of chances for advancement if you're willing to work for it. The new upper management is a great group to work for. Positive changes and a feeling of being part of a team and not just a number. I started out as a temporary employee and have worked my way up to a Production Supervisor. I have had three raises in two years and have had multiple job opportunities within the company.

Cons

They had a bad reputation by people who no longer worked there for a reason. Every company has its flaws. SCSG has made a great deal of positive changes in the past few years. The cons are no different than you would have anywhere else.

Great place if you like hard work.

Pros

There are a LOT of great people that work here. The benefits are competitive for the area. It is easy to be excited about getting to save lives every day.

Cons

There are some negative attitudes that assume anybody that is successful must be a brown-noser or that an individual's failure to progress must be the fault of management (never mind the amount of negativity they spout everyday thinking management never hears it). There are some outdated processes that are a waste of time, but they never seem to actually go away.
