Pros
- Meet lots of students who use the facility and become familiar with them - Short 2-hour shifts make it possible to work in between class if you're a student
Cons
- Overwork employees outside of their pay and their expectations are way too high for full-time college students - Extremely strict if you miss a shift-- you can get disciplined even if it's medical reasons or for class, exams, etc. - If you break rules you often get suspended for 1-2 weeks, which means you are not allowed to work and will miss a whole pay period, which can be detrimental to college students - Hypercritical management and blatant favoritism - Cliquey and tense work environment - Distracts from schoolwork as a student - Patrons often treat you like garbage
