      Pros

      You get a free bus pass and Caltrain pass. Benefits are pretty much the basics

      Cons

      Managers are always suspicious of their suboridinates.

      Pros

      CalPers, office location, free transit, nice PTO. Good place in between something better. Some people really care, but they aren't valued. Huge budget that could do some serious good if the right people are ever in charge.

      Cons

      Basically if you are driven and have a lot of ideas or have other options, don't bother. A lot of people up top don't really know much about transit and you will not be rewarded for working harder. They have no merit system and basically brown nosing is the best way to move up. Empty positions can languish for many months if not years, and the 'acting' role is very abused. Lots of opposition to implementing even the most basic best practices. Entire departments vanish every few years.

      Pros

      You get into the market and you take advantage of the benefits.

      Cons

      I've seen some of the best and youngest talent leave after they've been mismanaged and mistreated, and improperly onboarded. Independent thought isn't appreciated; especially with the desire to actually change the way they do business. The building itself probably has several safety violations.
