Pros

Benefits are good- health, dental, vision, subsidized lunches, gym membership, 401k, and education. Global network and a good name to have company pride.

Cons

Unless you know the Korean language, you can't get far within the company. HQ folks look down on you and rotational staffs don't care about you. Environment was bad- low morale where EVERYONE wanted to quit the company. Although you may be hired under a certain position, you are expected to do many many things outside your position. It's good to get diverse experience, but you will never become good at any one thing. Compensation was so low that it made me feel like I wasn't worth much despite all the hard work I put in. There was lack of appreciation and too many comments that were borderline harassment- "your arms are thick", "it looks like you need to lose a few more pounds", etc.... Although I learned a lot during my time there, I am glad to have left.

Pros

They are working on some really cutting edge technologies. The management is understanding and trying, but the work has to get done. Generally flexible in terms of daily schedule. You can work from home some days if needed.

Cons

Samsung Telecom America is the offshore for Samsung Korea and they get treated like that. The work has to get done. You will face some unrealistic deadline. You may face some lack of information sharing situations.

Pros

401K match by employer, job stability, cash rich company

Cons

The culture promotes politics more than hard work. Managers control 25% bonus payout, without which salary in not competitive in the market. Too much control by management to spend office hours past 8 PM. In comparison to the profit Samsung makes, they don't even want to pay dinner for people staying late. At time politics based on which company you have worked earlier destroys the culture and creativity.
