- Top down, militaristic culture - Management request employees to make significant sacrifices - "Profit Sharing" takes up too much of a portion of salary and doesn't depend on personal/team performance. It depends more on the market situation of the entire division and we are not notified of the amount until the very last day. Without a high PS, the pay is not competitive compared to other companies in Korea. This uncertainty makes financial planning inconsistent. - Difficult to focus on core skills, hindering career development (after a certain stage, its almost impossible to both develop career for general job market and work for internal corporate promotion) - Hypocritical that ideologies the company advertises in and out of the company (innovation, creativity, freedom of research) and that actually enforced by management (enforced overtime) contradict each other
