Many opportunities in different departments. Internal mobility is an option for everybody. Competitive compensation and benefits.

Politics - like in majority of big companies. Many things are moving to India.

Pros

Higher than industry-average pay. Prior to WD acquisition, a great corporate culture. Open discussion encouraged, thanks to the Israeli influence - some may find it off-putting, but despite the loud tones, you get used to the cultural differences.

Cons

Since WD acquisition, benefits were slashed, they laid off many legacy SNDK people, and the culture has shifted dramatically. If SNDK was an "old" company (based on Silicon Valley interpretation) then WDC is a dinosaur.
