A great placement to decide what you want to do long-term
Pros
-Prestigious clients -Exceptional insight into how graduate recruitment is run (useful when making your graduate career move), with focus on the finance industry -Exceptional level of responsibility even for placement students -Team lunches at regular intervals -MD is quite flexible and it is easy to fit personal life around work -Good work/life balance (worked past 6.30 no more than 2-3 times)
Cons
-No intellectual stimulation whatsoever (bad place to work if you want to be intellectually challenged) -No clear JD beforehand (and work differed in many cases to what the advertised role was) -Salary is way below par, especially if you consider the level of responsibility placed on you -Inflexible working conditions (you always have to work from the office) -Decisions are always rushed and never thought through properly, which means that you often have to deal with some nasty side effects
