Pros

Flexibility, 9/80 schedule, work/life balance, job security

Cons

My experience at Sandia National Laboratories was disappointing overall. While the organization offers job security and interesting projects, several key issues make it a difficult workplace. There is limited job advancement, and salaries are lower compared to similar roles outside of Sandia. Management lacks consistency and the ability to make meaningful changes, leading to confusion in job functions. There is a noticeable culture of favoritism and backbiting, making the work environment feel more like a high school campus than a professional setting. Due to these challenges, I would not recommend Sandia National Laboratories to those seeking career growth, fair compensation, or a well-structured leadership team.
