Pros
For G&A support function, Sanofi is mostly willing to employ someone who does not have a pharma/biotech background. This makes it a great way to gain some experience in the industry then move to a smaller, higher growth biotech company in Cambridge/Mass. The benefits are also great with a very good 401K match.
Cons
-This is a French-owned company so the culture is a bit more conservative and formal, which might not work for people who are more used to a casual/ semi-casual work environment. -Top management stays in place so there's very little opportunity to move along the corporate ladder. The tendency is to move people laterally. -The hours can be long, mostly around the budget/LRP season.
