Pros

Savers is a great place to work if you are young, energetic, and docile. The work is fast paced so you will never face boredom, Chances for promotion are very good if you show up everyday and excel at saying yes to everything asked of you. Hard work and knowledge is not necessary for promotion, just a willingness to say yes and an ability to force others into submission. Discount is nice 50% off most categories, 30% off the rest. However, you must wait 2 days from the time the item hits the sales for before you can buy it

Cons

This company has a Value system they love to promote amongst its team members, in this value system they list several little cutesy phrases including "Do the Right Thing" and "Find a Better Way". They want people to follow the rules, not steal, help others etc. However, when it comes to their end, they do not want to do the right thing at all which I found demoralized every single employee I came across. People were underpaid and overworked, raises for team members were a straight up joke. This company went public on the stock market recently and it has become even more unbearable. I would only suggest this job for people that love thrifting and want the discount in which case I would suggest part-time employment. Another type of person I would suggest applying here would be someone who wants to be promoted to management easily and only has minimal life skills and/ or short resume.
