Pros

Self guided work as well as discounts on items

Cons

I found that the environment at Value Village was toxic and it was a big contributor towards me not enjoying the job and not wanting to come in some days. A lot of the hired employees (especially more recently) have been lazy with their job and don't understand the importance of having a clean store for customers, therefore i came into my shift with dozens of clothes on the floor, full racks and unorganized items while they hang out around self checkout. With the new store and retail managers I've also noticed that this location has been falling apart with consistency with shifts and scheduling. Most weeks i used to get 1-2 shfits, and I get my shifts shortened or even cancelled.
