Could be a really great place...

Pros

Plenty of opportunity for advancement in the right parts of the country. They give back to the community at every opportunity, so it can be a great 'feel good' company to work for. Halloween is their Christmas, and it can be a ton of fun! If you love to dress up, this is the place for you!

Cons

Very poorly implemented management training program. They have a great 'open door' policy on paper, but put into action, it tends to turn around on the complaintantant, and there is no recourse for the retaliation, despite their strict policies against it. Bullying and harassment tends to continue due to how situations are handled. In fairness, they do not provide their management with extensive training on how to deal with these situations like many other workplaces do, and depend on the fact that they must have acquired that skill elsewhere through other management experience before they were hired - which is not always the case. There never seems to be any forward planning. While it's understandable that in a growing company things are very fluid and rapidly changing, setting a career path (or 1-2 options for it) for the next year for a member of management and communicating that goal should be standard practice so employees can plan for potential change in their lives and keep pre-existing commitments.

Pros

Cons

long days, high expectations, low pay, even as salary if you have to be gone a day they won't pay you for it. Corporate sets expectations without thorough research and therefore have unreasonable expectations
