Management was so concerned with the bottom line, that I had to quit my job to attend my mother's funeral in another province. She passed away during the summer, & they had a strict policy of not giving people time off during that time of year. A co-worker of mine had an addition to her family, her step-daughter came to live with her, & she needed to go p/t to spend more time with her family. She was told categorically that business needs come first.

Don't get benefits if you're part time. Managers were never organized, always screaming at people
