Poor treatment of staff

Pros

I worked with some phenomenal staff in both the front end positions and the production position. The work required a lot of customer service tasks, meeting quotas, assisting customers with costuming, and other related duties.

Cons

Everyone was expected to be available on sale day which wasn't always feesible by the staff with families or other important tasks outside of work. As a result the employers would guilt trip the staff to get them to do things that were not possible. Furthermore, as production staff, if you spent too much time assisting customers when everyone else was busy or elsewhere, the supervisors had said that customer service wasn't a priority. Being that the entire business runs on sales and customer relations, the reaction of the employee was to quit.
