Inept management, corrupt HR department, apathetic supervisors. It seems the less you do, the faster you get promoted. I've had leads ask me how to do the most basic functions and somehow they get paid more than me. I've also seen a few of them sleep for extended periods of their shift and not get reprimanded. These people are responsible for your performance review/raises.

Not made for everyone. I find those comfortable with production facilities like NGC or Lockheed tend to not work out and eventually move on. Although the direction of management has been slow developing there is on a steady growth path towards success.
