Pros

Scaleworks is a young, software-as-a-service firm that is bringing technology (and tech-adjacent) jobs to downtown San Antonio. There is a lot of opportunity for growth and they promote heavily from within.

Cons

The firm has 6+ companies (all SaaS, all B2B) as part of the portfolio. It can be a bit confusing to understand the model. Semi-autonomous units within the greater portfolio. All of them are Scaleworks, but not.

Pros

If you work hard there are lots of opportunities to move up quickly within the company. Leadership is trusting and don't micro-manage. A unique environment that offers shared learning from portfolio company collaboration and has a nice spot in the growing SA tech community.

Cons

New so some kinks to be worked out.
