- office location
- a very toxic environment. People always complaining and once they receive what was asked for they refuse to check, test or work with it. Then pick up on complaining again. There seems to be a complaining pool rotation policy: if something has not been complained about in a while, it is a must to be picked up and bickered about again.
- very poor employee retention. At my time within the company, in less than 1 year, in a team of less than 10, more than 5 people left (myself and 2 others -that i know of- left without even having something arranged as a next job, it was that bad)
- promoting a gossip culture. External branches are to blame, or the customer, never the team or specific project you are part of. While some things could be improved on these areas, there was never any willingness to address internal issues and to start building trust/relationships inside and then reaching out.
- biggest deal-breaker for me, personally are the lies. Whatever was promised was never delivered, mainly in the scope of work. It was always postponed and always the fault lied somewhere else. There is lack of accountability on all fronts.
- hard to get access to accounts or to knowledge of the system/architecture as most people (there are few exceptions) more or less refuse to present how the product works. And if they do present it, it is in a very hard to digest/convoluted manner.
