      Life with Schneider National went from pretty good to unbearable

      Pros

      The Pros all died with Don Schneider (RIP - you are missed)

      Cons

      No pay raises, impossible to earn bonuses, no holiday pay, poor miles, lousy communication and leadership. Leaders who lie constantly especially to our customers, making the driver look like an idiot when we are face to face with that customer and ignorant to what they think they know and what they expect us to know.

      Pros

      Lots of free stuff and food frequently. Some of the other employees I worked with were awesome. Schneider Corporate is amazing and takes care of their people. Schneider Logistics is the problem child of the company.

      Cons

      Management and communication is drastically lacking. If they want to get rid of you they make it their mission! If you accept a job continue to apply other places.

      Pros

      They have some good people left. Not all the 'flying badger' crazies are into bullying and harassment. It doesn't appear that they train their folks specifically to do just that. Just comes naturally for a number of them.

      Cons

      We're truck drivers, not high tech computer geeks! All this electronic equipment doesn't work worth a d*mn. It's all dangerous distractions, high pressure, out of control disaster land. There is no enjoyment in trucking this way. Lofgren is a perfect example of why Symantec & Motorola big whigs should be banned from the trucking industry. He is a danger to the public of the entire United States and probably a few countries.
