Pros

The people. Everyone from the other drivers all the way up. Every terminal has a cafe and the food is a lot better than a lot of the truck stops, not to mention the pay is pretty dog on good just way to many pros to list

Cons

My only problem is they are going to an all automatic transmission fleet, I'm not an automatic type of guy (it is nice in rush hour traffic though).

Pros

They will get you home when you want.

Cons

Very inconsistent with miles. Many times you get a preloaded assignment to find out that it is a live load when you get there. Or vice versa. Then you have to wait forever for them to change tasks. Detention pay is horrible, which happens alot. Sign on bonuses are pointless, they are taxed at 40%. Don't let them fool you. I have a perfect driving record, but was let go because someone reported me doing a legal u-turn at an intersection. This is a day after I reported that I had to go to emergency room for shingles which I had been working with for 4 days without any meds. Coincidence?, I think not. By the way, they will try to prevent you from getting quarter bonuses, I have an inside source that says they get incentives for keeping drivers under a certain criteria. Watch out, and protect yourself.

Pros

Individual employees are some of the best people to work with in the industry. Many great veteran drivers working there. This company used to be a "goal" company to eventually work for to continue your career.

Cons

They have gotten so focused on "Safety" that they have actually created a more unsafe environment. From collision mitigation systems that slam on the truck brakes for nothing, to hyper-sensitive computers that have no concept of actual surroundings. They hire hundreds of inexperienced drivers weekly while struggling to keep their veteran drivers consistently moving. They no longer listen to their drivers but more the insurance company and selling out the Driver to save a buck.
