      Pros

      young work environment, great location downtown and flexible hours

      Cons

      day got to be somewhat repetitive of making around 100 cold calls each day, not much chance for advancement

      A lot of talk from middle and upper managers but no action for frontline managers.

      Pros

      SNI had a good education reimbursement program for managers that have since been cut back. Working with the drivers as a team was great, working together to help them earn a good living and have a good life balance as far as a driver goes.

      Cons

      Middle Managers that constantly put out fires instead of preplanning or foreseeing the issues. Even when frontline Fleet Managers would ask questions or make suggestions they are pushed aside and bad things happen in the operation then. Communication in management is dismal at best especially in Texas Intermodal. Managers are promoted by how well they can agree with upper management, not by experience and foresight.

      Pros

      Most of the operating centers have On-Site PT, a restaurant (of some sort), Vending machines, shop services (depending on whether you've made an appointment or not 2-5 days in advance).

      Cons

      Company values. Division of Revenue (no dividend plan for employees based on excellent quarterly revenue), No APU Units, Maintenance is spotty in performance and timely execution of labor, upper management and associates in corporate office are concentrating more on the bottom line than the drivers, as it was the opposite several years ago. Expect to pay 100$ a week for a family of 3 when it comes to Insurance.
