Pros
When Scholastic was a growing company, there was tremendous opportunity. The culture is difficult, but if you worked for a good boss, there was much opportunity to grow. For working moms, the work/ life balance is great.
Cons
Scholastic needs better upper management with vision and the talent to operate more efficiently. Also, upper managers in the revenue groups do not always work well together. This conflict travels downward through the corporate culture.
