Pros

The people in technology are talented and easy to work with. My boss is brilliant and treats me very well. I enjoy the projects I work on and the team I work with has an amazing tech lead. I've worked in a number of bad jobs with people who are indifferent or even abusive , so working with someone who clearly understands the entire ecosystem and can see how my work clearly benefits the bottom line, it's such a relief and feels long overdue. If I wanted to keep working in a corporate environment and if the culture remained smart and supportive, I'd happily stay at Scholastic until retirement.

Cons

Way too much work and the timelines are so short. We always manage to make it to the finish line, but we're always juggling multiple projects and there never seems to be any time to catch our breath before moving on to the next thing.
