Micromanaging low pay

Pros

Paid health insurance Okay benefits

Cons

The micromanaging has become worse over the years. Always busy. Calls come in every 7 seconds your barely left with any room to breathe let alone drink water in between calls. Favoritism is big in the department and you won’t get promoted unless you suck up to your supervisor. There’s no room to grow. They make it impossible to apply to other departments. They hold you to a high standard and the pay doesn’t compensate it. You’ll feel burnt out and they won’t care. There is a lot of working in the gray area if you say no to a member it’s pointless because management will just say yes even if you’re following guidelines. They don’t offer pay increases until it’s the annual increase of 50 cents or less or you get promoted which is nearly impossible. Pay is low for the high standards they expect out of team members. Sick pay policy is a joke. They only give you 24hrs for the year and anything outside of that you accrue points which lead to a write up. management could be better if they didn’t micromanage everything. You could barely take a bathroom break without them questioning why your off the phones for so long.

Pros

I rave about working here to everyone I know. All the basic questions everyone always asks such as benefits (great benefits AND paid for), pay and hybrid options are expectational but where I think SchoolsFirst FCU shines and sets themselves apart from other employers is their caring and constant focus on keeping the team happy. We get many gifts, events, and communications that make you truly feel valued as a Teammember.

Cons

Options for Fully Remote Positions
