      Pros

      My former department no longer exists as it once did, but it was sincerely the most fulfilling position I had ever held in a veterinary hospital. My dept was absolutely fantastic & like a family to me.

      Cons

      Little room for salary growth or developing a more prestigious title. Economics of the facility have changed decreasing and/or eliminating some of the former "perks" (enormously reduced personal pet care).

      Pros

      Excellent place to learn about the veterinary field. Good benefits and over time.

      Cons

      Management give more negative feedback and barely any good feedback. Preference towards some employers. Don`t put not a lot of attention to employers well being.

      Pros

      With the common goal of providing top notch medical care to animals, working at the AMC means being surrounded by friendly and supportive co-workers. Good work is regularly recognized and upper management is approachable. I absolutely LOVE working here. It is a refreshing change of pace from working in Public Relations.

      Cons

      The only "con" I would mention is salary, but comes with working in the non-profit world.
