Pros
SEL is a great company. I've been given numerous opportunities to do really interesting work. It is awesome to get to do the kind of work that I get to do in a small town setting like this. Jobs like mine are typically only found in bigger companies and bigger companies are typically in bigger cities. At Schweitzer I get to do work that I enjoy and live in an environment that I appreciate. Best of both worlds for me.
Cons
No company is perfect and SEL is no exception to that rule. It all comes down to people. Some people make great leaders, team mates, employees, etc...and some people...well...don't. On the whole I have found SEL to be a healthier place to work than other companies I've been with. Way more good people than bad, though there are certainly a few undesirable apples in the barrel.
