      Pros

      One of the best R&D teams for a electric manufacturing company. The people here keep innovating all the time.

      Cons

      The performance evaluations are poorly don. It does not matter if you slog or take it easy you get the same rewards, so less motivation for people to work hard. The culture is not the same naymore with company getting bigger and bigger in terms of employee count

      Pros

      Good company with a great work culture. Great place to start and grow your career. People are helpful and very friendly.

      Cons

      Location of headquarters is in Pullman, WA. Not a bad place but I guess you would prefer a better city to live in.

      Pros

      Nice facilities. Cafeteria food every Friday--but you can all eat together. If a person has grown up in Eastern Washington, and simply wishes to be employed, it's a great place to work.

      Cons

      The very best "pump you up," internal marketing anywhere. Heads up! They are giving you the answers to the test. SEL is "the best" and will be "happy to receive suggestions from anyone" as long as it is from someone who has been with the company for long enough to be "credible.". Credible includes ONLY experience within SEL, and mostly engineering. Prior experience or success is often required to get the job, but not desired upon your arrival.
