Pros

Work life balance was favourable. Focusing on relationships, politics and likeness goes a long way, more than output.

Cons

Limited mobility and heavy politics, particularly with long tenured employees who enjoy steady pace and little disruption and accountability. Proven performers will be expected to pick up the slack and not complain.
