Pros

Work life balance is great. Opportunities for growth are uneven, there is a huge aging workforce which suggests current stagnation as well as changes in the horizon.

Cons

Low pay, increments and salary adjustments are hard to get. More support for cheap and cheerful solutions and less for long term strategic investments.

Pros

-I work as a teller but initially i was hired through the co-op student program through my college program. some of the best reason to work at Scotiabank is that they dont lay you off, its a friend environment to work in so there is politcs involved and the management helps you a lot when you're starting off to get to know the banks policies and procedures.

Cons

- Its quiet stressful at times because at start the customer dont really like you and might discourage you. - low pay because the amount of work a teller does so def underpaid -training could be better

Pros

Great place to begin career in finance field giving you a good overall impression of the workplace. Very good pay compared to similar jobs

Cons

Management at times seemed very stupid. Nobody would do anything outside of their job description and ti almost felt as though it were a government run organization.
