A company that really does care about quality of products and its customers and consumers
Pros
Decent pay and benefits compared to other jobs within UK horticulture, friendly and hard-working people on the whole, flexible and open in their attitude to employees, a well-respected brand.
Cons
Not all employees are particularly experienced within the horticultural industries, neither are they all particularly keen on gardening. Sometimes feel there is a wide gap between senior management and those 'on the shop floor' so to speak, although senior management do their best to communicate with regular briefings etc. Bleak offices/location of offices don't reflect what our company aims are - ie to help consumers to produce beautiful gardens. Limited career prospects, continuous organisational/staff changes which appreciate are sometimes required but not always well-communicated quickly enough.
