      Hard-driving. Results matter. People are considered dispensible.

      Pros

      Very results oriented. Company likes to move fast. Very nice headquarters in Marysville. They have very strong brands in lawn and garden category and are the biggest player in this segment.

      Cons

      People are simply not respected. They are considered dispensible. Minimal work life balance. Expect to work 24/7 with the reward being 'allowed' to keep your job. Financially, very dependent on weather and seasonal in nature. If it is a good weather year, the company does well. If not, employees are let go very regularly. As a result, this is not a place where your build a career. Rather this is where you do a job.

      Salary is good and it the company has a well known brand name. Corporate office has a lot to offer (gym, gardening, etc) Benefits are good A lot of company holidays

      Cons

      Very political. A lot of no-body's at the leadership level. Very aggressive work environment. Unrealistic sales growth expectations outlined year after year. Company instantly begins laying off people after a year that they miss their goal Everyone in the company thinks they are better than everyone else which leads to lack of collaboration Poor management styles, especially in the remote offices
