Thank you for leaving us this review. This is why being a medical scribe is such a great experience as you really do get to see firsthand how medicine functions, which is something you really can’t get from other jobs or volunteer work. At ScribeAmerica we are very proud to have such in-depth classroom training with ScribeU and floor training program. While this may take some time to complete your training, we really do try our best to train our scribes to become solo and be prepared to handle every scenario. We are proud of the fact that we are the industry leader and strive to maintain competitive pay in every market. I hope you were also able to take advantage of some of ScribeAmerica’s other amazing benefits including employee discounts on things like computers, Kaplan prep courses, and even on Lyft.

Pros

- the ED allows you to work with a lot of providers (MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, etc.) and you get exposure to diverse medical cases - teaches you about what it is like to work in-patient

Cons

- low pay - the ED i worked was understaffed and so it was difficult to swap shifts with other scribes at times
