Pros

Good health care experience with flexible hours if your site allows that

Cons

It took several other people including myself about a month and a half before starting training after the initial hiring. They kept telling us it will start in 2 weeks and to wait for someone to contact us. The management team is the most unorganized team I ever encountered. They need to work on properly training chief scribes to set up schedules for scribes and timely communication. There has been several events where I was told two different things from a chief scribe and a manager. Management is made up of individuals, who get promoted as soon as a spot opens up with minimal experience and little training in management. It’s more like monkey see monkey do rather than efficient training. I never took any of them seriously other than the former assisted director. When I was originally hired they urged me to be available at least 4-5 days a week and with occasional weekends. The whole year of working here I barely worked more than 4 days a week. I don’t have much money so I was practically dependent on this job and its horrible pay. Every time I got the opportunity to work in a different specialty or earn more hour they kept switching me because of “scheduling conflict”. I honestly felt like it was a waste of time and I could’ve been better off accepting my first job offer. I tried my best to avoid contact with my co-workers at this job because I just felt like it was the right thing to do. So many people come and go from this company I can barely keep track.
