The salary they give you is abysmal to say the least (minimum wage). For all of the hardwork you do and put in, they pay you peanuts for doing significant and meaningful contributions for our communities and healthcare in general. Also, chief scribes do not know how to properly create a schedule at the request of the medical scribe, they simply want to push the agenda of ScribeAmerica at the expense of the scribes. Furthermore, upper management does not know how to properly manage their sites. They simply rush to install their company into a community just to make a quick profit without properly acknowledging the time and commitment it takes to create a successful and welcoming environment. The turnover rate for scribes is high, and they expect you to become professional medical scribes within 2 weeks. If you could scribe privately for a physician, I recommend that entirely over working for ScribeAmerica
